Build a Custom BI report

Save reusable financial views from the closed Financial Overview catalogue without creating a second set of financial records or custom formulas.

Before you start

Prerequisites and permissions

Have ready

  • Custom BI must be included in your business plan.
  • The staff account must hold the complete Financial Overview capability set.

Access rules

  • Your business, role and plan access are checked whenever you view or save a report.

Walkthrough

Step by step

  1. 01

    Name the report

Add a clear name and optional description so another authorised staff member can understand its purpose.

  2. 02

    Choose a date range

Use a Company-local preset or a valid custom period no longer than 24 months.

  3. 03

    Compose approved widgets

Select one to sixteen currently authorised financial widgets, set allowed sizes and use the accessible move controls to order them.

  4. 04

    Save while connected

Nenvik rechecks authority, plan access, registry version and expected revision before saving the definition.

  5. 05

    Read current figures

Opening a report loads current Financial Overview figures. A saved report stores your layout choices, not a copy of earlier totals.

Closed catalogue

Reports accept approved widget keys and sizes only; custom SQL, formulas, joins and forecasts are unavailable.

Troubleshooting

If something does not look right

Custom BI is missing.

Ask an Owner to check that Custom BI is in the plan and you have Financial Overview access.

A saved widget disappeared.

Check your current permissions and plan features. A widget is hidden when you no longer have access to its information.

The report changed before save.

Reload the latest revision, review it and submit a new update instead of overwriting it.

A card is empty or incomplete.

Check the selected period and original records; Nenvik never inserts sample values to fill evidence gaps.
