Walkthrough

Step by step

  1. 01

    Build the working Quote

Add clear line descriptions, positive quantities, unit prices, tax treatment, scope, and terms.

  2. 02

    Review the calculated totals

Check subtotal, tax, and total from the line items. Do not override financial truth with a manually typed total.

  3. 03

    Publish the customer version

Create the saved, read-only publication only after review. Later draft edits do not rewrite the document the customer received.

  4. 04

    Share through an authorised path

Use secure delivery or the Customer Portal. Do not copy internal working URLs.

  5. 05

    Record the customer decision

An eligible customer can accept or decline once. The decision updates Quote evidence but does not automatically schedule a Job or collect Payment.

Troubleshooting

If something does not look right

The customer sees an older document.

Check which publication is current. A PDF is a frozen document and should not be confused with the editable working Quote.

Accept or decline is unavailable.

Confirm the selected business, Portal relationship, publication eligibility, and whether a decision already exists.
