Personalise Today and Financial Overview

Arrange the live Today and Financial Overview workspaces, use permission-checked widgets, and understand secure availability and online save rules.

Before you start

Prerequisites and permissions

An active staff account in an active Company.
At least one Today widget allowed by the current role, Team capabilities and package.

Field Worker is limited to Today.
Office Staff sees only widgets allowed by current Team capabilities and package features.
A saved layout never grants access to widget data.

Start from the current authorised catalogue
Nenvik offers only widget keys allowed by the current staff role, Team capabilities and package features. Hidden widgets and their counts are not loaded.

Arrange a protected draft
Choose Customise, then drag a widget or use its labelled Move controls. Select only the offered fixed size presets. Unsaved browser or device changes are drafts only.

Save with the current revision
Save and Restore recommended layout require an online connection, current revision and unique idempotency key. A stale revision reports a conflict instead of overwriting another edit.

Use extended operational widgets safely
Notifications, communication exceptions, Inventory, Company assets, Website, custom-domain, quick-action and Help widgets appear only when the current role, Team/Website permissions and package allow them. Unselected groups are not loaded.

Personalise Financial Overview without changing financial truth
Owner and fully authorised Office Staff can separately arrange confirmed cash, Invoice balances, receivables, historical trends, Job operational margin and cost-evidence widgets. Currencies stay separate, active work never claims projected profit and unselected data groups are not queried.

Keep financial widget rows readable
Financial widget headers, evidence bodies and lower actions use one stable frame. Cards align within a desktop or tablet row, while mobile keeps natural content height and never clips financial evidence.

Desktop derives twelve columns, tablet six columns and mobile one ordered column; separate pixel coordinates are never stored.
Today’s calendar date, greeting and observed evidence use the Company operating timezone. Stored date-only facts keep the calendar day entered and are never shifted through the browser timezone.
The recommended Today set contains up to six authorised widgets: today’s schedule, Needs your attention, Quotes awaiting response, overdue Invoices, confirmed cash collected and quick actions. Only widgets allowed by the current role, capabilities and package appear. Existing saved layouts stay unchanged until the user edits or explicitly restores the recommended layout.
Needs your attention shows the next authorised review action first. Exact counts, preview limits and security details remain available in its explanatory disclosure.
Widget cards in the same dashboard row now share a stable frame and aligned actions. On smaller screens they return to content-height cards, so information is never clipped or padded with a fixed mobile height.
Owners and office staff can personalise Today and the Financial Overview. Field workers can personalise Today only.
Financial Overview registry entries whose exact data product is not implemented are not offered as live controls.
Inventory thresholds are visible evidence only; they do not create purchase orders or send notifications. Communication exceptions never expose recipients, message bodies or service replies.

Troubleshooting

A previously selected widget is no longer visible.

Review the current role, Team capability and package plan access. The missing widget does not prove its underlying records were deleted.

Save reports a conflict.

Reload the current revision, review the newer layout and apply the intended change again.

An offline arrangement is not saved.

Reconnect and refresh. Offline arrangement is protected draft intent and has not been saved to your account.
