Walkthrough
Step by step
- 01
Create or review the Job
Confirm Customer, location snapshot, title, priority, operational status, and source Quote where present.
- 02
Choose the schedule view
Use Day, Week, or Agenda for the planning question at hand. Use Dispatch when coordinating workers and unscheduled work.
- 03
Check availability and conflicts
Review worker availability and any detected overlap before saving the assignment.
- 04
Assign the right team member
Assign only a live eligible member who needs the Job. The worker sees limited to the assigned work information, not unrestricted business data.
- 05
Confirm what the customer can see
Scheduling and worker evidence remain private unless the business deliberately publishes customer-safe progress.
- 06
Wait for an explicit save result
Job Stage, Task, Issue/Damage, Company Asset/location and assignment-material forms show a pending state, then one visible result. A validation result keeps safe entered values, a conflict asks you to reload, and an unexpected failure shows a safe support reference. Do not repeatedly submit while the first save is pending.
Troubleshooting
If something does not look right
The worker cannot see the Job.
Confirm active business membership, the exact live assignment, and that the worker is using My Day or My Jobs in the correct business.
The schedule rejects the assignment.
Review overlap, availability, Job state, and worker eligibility. Do not repeatedly submit stale schedule data.
A Job change did not save.
Follow the result shown beside the form. Correct named fields, reload a changed record, or give support the displayed reference. The reference is safe to share and does not contain the form values.
